A little something I recorded today. Hopefully I’ll polish it up with the band this summer. Maybe come up with a more creative chord progression and rhythm.
“We walk on down the roads
Scattered were the usual matters
Debris and dust and dirty doves
Pigeons picking patiently while we
Walk
Down
Around the town
In native grounds while we
Talk
Around
And look ahead
And see the dead come alive”
Mother Nature’s Son by The Beatles (cover) - Jon Cardenas
posted this in March, didn’t remember till today :P
Help me choose! I’m also hesitant because $600 is a lot, but I know Rickenbackers are worth way more than that… and it comes with a case… What do you think?
“Blood, Sweat and Tears”
A song I wrote while thinking about work and how some people deal with it. Luckily I don’t have that miserable of a job, although it could be loads better.
Note: Bear with my voice in this recording, I’ve had a bit of a cold these past few days.
Here’s a recording of me playing lead guitar for a local band, The Eiders. They’re looking for a lead guitar player and asked me to do a recording for this song. Do you think it’s alright?
Note: I sound a little fuzzy ‘cause I don’t have the best recording software. Also, anything that sounds off is because I’ve been trying to generate new things for this song.
Reblogging this for those who haven’t listened to it. Although I highly doubt anyone will respond to this since I hardly get much feedback on tumblr these days :P
